Who We Are
Our Mission
At Hand in Hand Rescue Supportive Living, our mission is to provide safe, stable, and nurturing housing for individuals facing life’s most difficult transitions, including those affected by homelessness, mental illness, trauma, substance use recovery, and systemic barriers.
We believe that everyone deserves not just a roof over their head, but a path to healing, access to supportive services, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
Our homes are more than shelter, they are communities built on dignity, structure, and compassion. We meet each individual where they are, offering personalized support that promotes independence, well-being, and long-term success.
Our Values
Dignity: Treating everyone with respect and compassion.
Stability: Offering secure, well-maintained housing that promotes long-term success.
Community: Building a sense of belonging and support among residents.
Independence: Empowering individuals to take steps toward self-sufficiency.
Our Leadership
Hand and Hand Rescue Supportive Living is owned and operated by Summer Hewett and Sherri P. Hinson, BSN, RN. With professional experience in healthcare and a passion for helping others, they bring both compassion and expertise to create a home where residents feel valued, supported, and safe.
